School goes mad for chocolate

Entrepreneurs ‘launch’ cup cake businesses in one day!

Groups of budding entrepreneurs from Teesside High School in Eaglescliffe took part in a Technology day just before half-term, to look at how to develop and launch a business.
Six groups of Year 9 pupils were set the challenge of developing their own cupcake businesses. Inspired by National Baking Week, chefs from each team produced top quality, decorated cupcakes while their team mates designed and produced the packaging, created their own websites and developed business plans, all in one day.
