Pupils at Teesside High School in Eaglescliffe once again excelled at the Darlington Festival of Performing Arts, in music and speech and drama, returning with a haul of first, second and third places.

Ten-year-old Lucy Branch (pictured below) from Stockton, who won two out of the three categories she was entered in, has now been invited to take part in the Junior Championship, which she won last year! (more…)

Pupils at Teesside High School in Eaglescliffe have been raising awareness of Fairtrade Fortnight, which ran from 27 February to 11 March.

Children in the Preparatory School gave a special performance during an assembly highlighting the work that Fairtrade undertakes striving towards better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms for farmers and workers in the developing world. (more…)

Pupils at Teesside High School in Eaglescliffe raised money last month by holding a lunchtime event in aid of the local charity Daisy Chain.

The event, which raised over £150, offered fun activities such as a hoola-hoop challenge and arm wrestling.  Representatives from Middlesbrough Football Club also challenged pupils to ‘beat the goalie’! (more…)
