Welcome to Teesside High School

Welcome to the Teesside High School website. We hope you enjoy browsing through our pages.

Teesside High is a lively and dynamic independent School for girls and boys from ages 3 to 18. We encourage a truly ‘family’ atmosphere here where the youngest children feel just as much at home as the young adults in the Sixth Form. We also ensure that we care for, and stretch academically, every child as an individual.

This website will give you all you need to know about our School plus all the latest news about the many exciting events which happen here each week. In particular, do please read about our innovative Diamond Model of education where boys and girls are taught in separate classes from the ages of 10 to 16.

The proven success of our students is based on high expectations and quality teaching, together with a varied and full extra curricular provision. This is coupled with healthy and positive teacher/student relationships. Teesside High is a happy and productive school where individuals matter and standards count.

Few schools enjoy such a superb location. We are situated in 19 acres of magnificently wooded grounds on the banks of the River Tees with extensive playing fields, tennis and netball courts, a nature trail and an orienteering course. Our young people therefore enjoy a wonderful amount of space in which to develop and flourish in a secure and free-from-pressure environment.

This website can only give you a flavour of the unique atmosphere at Teesside High School and we would urge you to come and experience the school first hand by paying us a visit. You are assured of a warm welcome.

We look forward to meeting you soon.
