The fashion design work of Teesside High School students has been specially selected to form part of a prestigious exhibition at the Royal Ballet, Covent Garden in October.
The exhibition has been organised as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of The Society of Headmasters & Headmistresses of Independent Schools (SHMIS), aiming to show excellence, quality and diversity in fashion design.
Teesside High School is the only school in the north east exhibiting fashion designs and just nine schools have been selected nationwide. The work is from GCSE, AS and A Level Product Design Textiles students.
Sue Jackson, Head of Design and Technology at Teesside High School, said: “We are honoured to be the only school in the north east chosen to exhibit our work. This is a wonderful opportunity to show the high quality garment designs of our students within the superb environment of The Royal Ballet.”
