Vision
Teesside High School aims to guide its pupils through a friendly but challenging environment to a successful future. Children join us from 3 years old and develop through the school into independent young adults in the Sixth Form, ready to take their place in this rapidly and radically changing world.
The school is unique in pioneering the 'Diamond' system of education, where boys and girls are taught separately at crucial stages, but are able to be together at break times and for extra curricular activities. Although well established in other parts of the British Isles, Teesside High is the only school locally that has embraced this scheme. We provide opportunities for girls and boys to learn separately with their own preferred learning styles as well as develop socially.
The Governors recently embarked on a £1.5 million building project which has enhanced our already impressive facilities, particularly in sport and in the Prep School. The Governors' vision is to maintain Teesside High School as the premier school in the Yarm and Stockton area whilst developing the Diamond model and the facilities on site, ensuring that everything we do has at its heart the interests of our pupils.
