Teesside High twins take on Wimbledon

Wednesday 12 July 2017 | By Samantha Hockney

Year 7 students Amelia and Imogen are the stars of a new Wimbledon-themed TV show, showing this week on CBBC.
The girls’ show ‘Twin It To Win It’ takes on a tennis-theme with ‘Twinbledon’ – airing each day at 9.00am and 4.10pm.
Cameras follow the girls as they try and find something to do at the world’s biggest tennis tournament in London. So far, Amelia and Imogen have tried their hand at playing the sport, umpiring from the sidelines and being ball girls.
Along the way they have been helped by tennis pros and celebrity friends, including Andy Murray’s mum Judy and doubles champion brother Jamie, wheelchair tennis champion Gordon Reid, Tom Parker from The Wanted, British number one tennis player Johanna Konta, British tennis legend Tim Henman, top chef Graham Hornigold, Youtube stars Max and Harvey Mills and sports presenter and Strictly Come Dancing champion Ore Oduba.
The show is another exciting adventure for the pair, who will travel to Ontario in Canada to compete in the World Dwarf Games in August.
