Life before Teesside High School

I studied Physical Education at Metropolitan University graduating with BA (Hons) and QTS. I then spent five years teaching in a Special Needs School in North Yorkshire. The following five years I spent as a SENDCo in a mainstream school with an additional resource base for students with a diagnosis of Autism, gaining a Postgraduate Certificate in National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination along the way.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy helping staff and students remove barriers to learning and seeing students reach their full potential.

What do you enjoy most about Teesside High School?

The stunning grounds, fantastic learning environment and students’ commitment to learning.

What is your favourite time of the year?

My favourite time of the year is autumn.
