Teesside High School – Transport from September 2020

Monday 10 August 2020 | By Samantha Hockney

At Teesside High, we are planning for school to reopen fully to all year groups on Monday 7 September.  As it stands, we also intend to reinstate our full school transport provision and run our usual private bus travel to and from school from this date, too.

In line with government guidance around Covid-19, all passengers will be required to wear a mask or face covering and sanitise their hands upon both pick-up and arrival at school.

In preparation for the new academic year, we have completed a review of our transport provision and made some slight changes to accommodate both existing demand and requests from new families. Please find below the 2020-21 transport booklet detailing routes and costs for the coming year. Please check this booklet carefully to ensure you are aware of any changes to the pick-up/drop off times from your chosen location.

This year, due to the revised terms and conditions associated with Covid-19, all proposed bus users must complete and sign a new bus application form. Please return this by post for the attention of our administration term or via email to admin@teessidehigh.co.uk at your earliest convenience.

Bus passes for pupils in Years 7 and above will be electronic, sent via email so a screenshot can be kept on the pupil’s mobile phone for the duration of the academic year. Prep pupils will be issued with a printed pass as currently.

If you have any queries regarding transport to and from Teesside High School, please get in touch.
