We are proud to be one of the North East's leading independent schools. Enquire about joining our wonderful and thriving school community.
Teesside High School is based in Stockton-on-Tees and boasts a wide catchment area, welcoming pupils from across Teesside, Durham, and North Yorkshire.
Teesside High School is one of the leading private schools in the region and we welcome boys and girls aged 3-18 into our Private Nursery, Prep School, Senior School, and Sixth Form. We serve a wide catchment area with pupils travelling from across Durham, North Yorkshire and Teesside, including the areas of Stockton-on-Tees, Yarm, and Darlington.
Our private school is set in extensive grounds on the banks of the River Tees, right in the heart of Teesside, with excellent facilities on-site, including recently renovated outdoor playing areas, our very own Woodland School, and a modern fitness suite. The Sixth Form building, added in 2014, is a beautiful addition to our portfolio and meets the growing demand for Sixth Form places across Tees Valley.
We are a small private school that focuses on the needs of the individual child. Our small class sizes mean we able to provide a supportive environment where highly qualified and enthusiastic staff support pupils in achieving academic excellence. However, we believe that education goes beyond the classroom; our co-curricular programme and renowned pastoral care seeks to build character and life-long skills in each and every child.
Teesside High School is easily accessible by road; we are close to both the A66 and the A19. We are also just a five minute walk to Eaglescliffe train station and around a 10 minute drive from Durham Tees Valley Airport.
For pupils wishing to use school transport, we operate a bus service along six routes, covering Hartlepool, Middlesbrough (Nunthorpe, Marton, Acklam, Stainton, Ingleby Barwick) Guisborough (Great Ayton, Kirkby, Stokesley, Hutton Rudby, Crathorne, Kirklevington, Yarm) Thirsk, Northallerton, Wynyard, Sedgefield, Stockton on Tees and Hartburn.
