Urgent announcement to parents – Monday 4 January

Monday 04 January 2021 | By Samantha Hockney

Following tonight’s announcement by the Prime Minister, all schools and colleges in England are being forced to close with immediate effect.

With a heavy heart, this means that Teesside High School will only be open to vulnerable children and children of key workers from tomorrow. If you fall into this category, our key worker provision will run from 7.45am-5.00pm each weekday. Please arrive at Reception and sign in as usual.

All of our Prep teaching and learning will now move online. Our wonderful team of Prep staff will be in school tomorrow planning a robust and comprehensive distance learning programme to begin on Wednesday. We will be in touch as soon as we can tomorrow to outline a timetable for all Prep pupils.

Senior and Sixth Form teaching will continue online from 8.50am tomorrow, as already planned. School buses will run tomorrow as planned.

We have said this time and time again but we are so grateful for your support during such challenging times. The school office will be open from 8.00am tomorrow to answer any queries you may have.
