Yash Vagadia

Head Boy

How long have you been at Teesside High School?
Since the beginning of Year 6 in 2013.

What has been the highlight of your time at Teesside High School?
The highlight of my time here would definitely have to be GCSE results day. I have never felt so happy and relieved knowing all of the hard work I had put in over the years, in that moment, had paid off. Hopefully next year will be even better!

Which subjects are you studying?
Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics at A-level.

What are your aspirations beyond Teesside High School?
In the future I would love to become a professional cricketer and pursue a career down that path. However, immediately after sixth form, I am considering going to university.

What are your hobbies and interests?
I play cricket regularly and it is my passion. I also enjoy fitness, running, bike rides and going to the gym. I also play piano.

What are you going to bring to your role?
In my year as Head Boy, I hope to make improvements to school life whether these be big or small. I want to leave the school in a better position than when I came to the role. I hope to be someone who people can look up to and, even when things get tough, I can keep people believing in what they can achieve.
