Nursery Chef

Full time, whole time

Monday to Friday 9.00am – 4.30pm

Salary – £24,952.20

We are seeking to employ a Chef who will work with our Catering Manager to ensure the delivery of a high quality and efficient catering service.    The successful applicant will also provide a catering service throughout the year.

School information

Art, Food and Design Technology Technician

Hours:                  Two days per week (Wednesdays and Thursdays), term time only plus 2 days

Salary:                  Hourly rate £13.71

We are seeking to employ an organised, reliable and highly motivated Design Technology Technician to provide support for staff within the department.

The successful candidate’s primary role is to provide support for staff within the DT, Food and Art Department; this will consist of assistance with resource preparation, record keeping, organisation and room maintenance as well as strictly technical tasks. The technician will be comfortable working with computers and will know how to apply skills in 2D design. The ability to use a 3D printer is desirable but training will be given.

Catering Assistant

Salary                        £12.71 per hour

Hours                        Monday to Friday 7.45am – 3.00pm term time only (with a 30 minute unpaid break)

The successful candidate will assist the Catering Manager with kitchen services including pot and dish washing, food preparation, cooking, preparation and cleaning of kitchen and dining room areas and assisting with food service. You will demonstrate creative skills to resolve routine issues in the preparation and serving of food. This will include following guidelines, recipes and other processes required for the delivery of high quality food service provision. This job involves standing for long periods of time. It is naturally a busy environment and you have to work at pace within a small team.

Riverbank Nursery at Teesside High School opened its doors in April 2026 and, following an incredibly successful launch, we are already expanding! We are now looking for a number of passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educators (Level 3) to join our growing team.
