Welcome to Riverbank Nursery

Riverbank Nursery is the flagship extension to Teesside High School’s existing Early Years provision, creating an outstanding hub of Early Years excellence at the heart of our Prep School.

Riverbank Nursery offers specialist, nurturing childcare for children aged 6 months to 4 years, set within a purpose-built environment.

From their very first days with us, children at Riverbank will benefit from a rich and inspiring curriculum, thoughtfully designed to support early development through play, exploration and discovery. Our setting makes the most of our beautiful riverside location, including access to outdoor learning and Forest School experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

What we offer

• Full-day childcare, open 7.30am–6.00pm, 50 weeks a year
• Access to 30 hours funded childcare through the Free Childcare for Working Parents scheme
• Exceptional purpose-built facilities, including creative play areas, cosy reading corners and peaceful sleep spaces
• Three carefully-designed rooms; The Nest, The Den and The Lodge, taking children from their first experience of nursery to a wonderfully nurturing pre-school environment
• A small, nurturing setting with small class sizes, ensuring individual care and attention
• Outstanding continuity through to our Prep School classes.
