Holiday Camp

Big Adventures Holiday Camp proved to be a resounding success during the Easter break, bringing joy, excitement and unforgettable memories to more than 60 children. With a packed schedule of engaging activities, exciting day trips and a safe, supportive environment, the camp once again lived up to its reputation as a top-tier holiday destination for young adventurers.

Danby Lodge National Park Centre

The week was filled with energy and enthusiasm as children embarked on a series of carefully planned excursions. A standout highlight was the trip to Danby Lodge National Park Centre, where children explored the natural beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors. From nature trails to interactive exhibits, the visit gave children a chance to connect with the outdoors and learn about local wildlife in a hands-on, inspiring way.

Ninja Warrior UK Adventure Park

One of the most anticipated and talked-about experiences of the week was the trip to Ninja Warrior UK Adventure Park. Inspired by the hit television show, this indoor assault course tested agility, strength and determination – and the children rose to the challenge. From balancing beams to climbing walls and swinging ropes, everyone gave it their all, cheered on by their peers and the supportive staff.

Behind the scenes, a team of dedicated staff ensured each day ran smoothly, prioritising fun while maintaining a focus on safety and wellbeing. The high attendance and positive feedback from parents highlight the camp’s growing popularity and strong reputation in the community. Seeing the children so engaged, making new friends and building confidence through these experiences is what Big Adventures is all about!

Book your child’s place for summer 2025

Plans are already underway for the next holiday programme; Summer Holiday Camp runs for three weeks starting on Monday 21 July.  Priority booking for Teesside High pupils opens on Monday 2 June and, one week later, any remaining spaces will be opened up for external children.
