Colour Run in aid of Mind, Teesside
Monday 12 May 2025 | By Erin McKeownTeesside High School Prep pupils will take part in an exciting Colour Run in aid of the charity Mind, Teesside on Thursday 22 May.
Mind, Teesside
Mind is Teesside’s leading mental health charity, believing that everybody has the right to enjoy good mental health and have access to the best possible care and services. Mind works with over 27,000 individuals per year. They offer services such as drop in sessions for children, career support, dementia advisory support, private counselling and so much more.
Pupils will hear from a charity ambassador in a special wellbeing assembly prior to the Colour Run, and, following the event, will have access to a host of classroom wellbeing resources from the team at Teesside Mind, so that they can continue to learn about the ways in which its teams support local people and how we can take care of our own mental health and wellbeing.
The Colour Run
Pupils all the way from Nursery up to Year 6 have been given a sponsorship sheet where friends and family have the opportunity to sponsor them – all proceeds will go to Mind, Teesside. On Thursday 22 May the children will then make colourful and magical memories when they take part in the Colour Run! Each pupil will receive a certificate at the end of the run, thanking them for their participation.
We look forward to welcoming pupils from visiting primary schools, Hartburn Primary School and The Links Primary School.
This promises to be a fabulous day of fun for the children to not only enjoy, but celebrate this fantastic local mental health charity.
