This accolade celebrates the remarkable contributions of Miss Hall, Miss Graham, Mrs Candler and Miss Wilson, who together have been recognised in the highly competitive category of ‘Early Years Team of the Year’. Their dedication, expertise and passion for early childhood education has placed them among the very best in the country.
The Pearson National Teaching Awards seek to honour exceptional educators across the UK, highlighting their profound impact and invaluable role in shaping young lives. The Certificate of Excellence is a testament to the team’s unwavering commitment to nurturing every child’s potential, fostering strong partnerships with families and contributing meaningfully to the wider school community.
Carolyn Williams, Director of Prep at Teesside High School, said: “Our school motto is ‘Education as it should be’ and our Early Years team embodies this in spades. They build positive and proactive relationships with families to ensure a child’s very best start in life.
“The EYFS team builds upon the belief that when home and school work collaboratively, outcomes for children are raised. Staff have created numerous parental engagement initiatives, raising the quality of learning exponentially and playing a pivotal role in ensuring a more enriching, well-rounded educational experience for the children.
