Based in 20 acres of magnificent grounds on the banks of the River Tees, we were recently judged to be ‘Excellent’ by the Independent Schools Inspectorate.
Our Senior School provides the perfect environment for children to feel challenged and supported while giving them room to develop into independent thinkers who are ready to take the next step in their journey. Academic excellence and aspiration are key ingredients to this, but by no means what we believe fully prepares a child for adulthood and life beyond school.
We want our pupils to finish their Senior School education ready for the challenges of the outside world, having fulfilled their academic potential and become rounded individuals with key people skills including the ability to value diversity, experienced through our inclusive ethos.
