Tea-Time Talks at Teesside High – Shiulie Ghosh

Tuesday 25 January 2022 | By Samantha Hockney

We are thrilled to be able to restart our Tea-Time Talk series for Senior School and Sixth Form students.

Some of you may recall these event from ‘pre-Covid’ times, but if you are new to school, our Tea-Time Talks cover a wide variety of subjects and career professions.

The first talk this year will be held in the Main Hall on Friday 11 February between 4.15pm and 5.00pm and our guest speaker will be Shiulie Ghosh.

As you may be aware, Shiulie is a former pupil of Teesside High School and has enjoyed a successful career as an award-winning journalist working for prestigious media organisations such as the BBC, ITV and Al Jazeera English. She is also a published author, writing teen/young adult fiction, and she somehow finds the time to run a successful media production company, too!

We are sure that Shiulie will be an engaging and thought provoking speaker with great expertise to share with our audience.

This is an Able, Gifted and Talented event but we welcome all students and their parents to join us. Refreshments will be available. So that we can plan accordingly, please register your attendance using the Google Form circulated earlier this week.

We look forward to seeing you there!
