Pre-School

As the children reach their third birthday, and become ready for a more structured approach to Early Years education, they transition into our renowned Pre-School environment where learning through explorative play is the order of the day.

Our Pre-School boys and girls are afforded the highest level of care to ensure the very best start to life. Our small class sizes allow pupils to benefit from individual attention not always available in busier settings. We use forward-thinking approaches to teach key subjects in fun and engaging ways and find that our children make phenomenal progress.

Pre-School values

We teach our children to be kind, to show respect, to aim high and to be a team player. Both inside and outside the classroom, we learn about our diverse world and our place within it. We develop a love of nature and we take steps to care for our environment. We learn about and celebrate different cultures and beliefs.

Our work is very much in partnership with parents; we aim to build positive and proactive relationships with families to ensure a child’s very best start in life. We use a dedicated, secure portal to share updates and photographs from your child’s week and operate a consistent ‘open door’ policy to ensure you too are happy with your child’s new setting.

When can my child join?

Pupils join us at around age three from our on-site setting, Riverbank Nursery, or you can choose for our Pre-School Class to be your son/daughter’s first taste of Early Years education. Either way, we would love to hear from you.
