Carolyn Williams

Carolyn Williams studied Primary Education at Northumbria University, graduating with a BEd (Hons) specialising in Mathematics and Science before beginning her teaching career in London. After returning to the North East and completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Further Professional Studies in Education at Durham University, she taught in both state and independent schools, joining Yarm Preparatory School in 2002 and progressing to Head of Mathematics and Senior Teacher.

In January 2013, Carolyn joined Teesside High School as Director of the Preparatory School, where she has led the Prep School for over 13 years. She is now delighted to also serve as Nursery Manager at Riverbank Nursery, overseeing the school’s outstanding early years provision and helping to extend its nurturing educational experience to children from as young as six months old.
