Life before Teesside High School

After finishing my degree in Liverpool, I completed a Masters in Information and Library Management. As a Librarian I  worked in lots of different areas including television, prisons, hospitals and universities both in the UK and in Australia. I began working at Teesside High in the school office and have since moved into the SEND team as a Learning Support Assistant.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Every day is different! I enjoy supporting students with their work and helping them learn.

What do you enjoy most about Teesside High School?

THS has a lovely atmosphere – friendly, calm and encouraging. I enjoy seeing the achievements of the children and working in a team of amazing staff.

What is your favourite time of the year?

Without a doubt, my favourite time of year is spring. I am always happy when the nights start to become lighter and you can begin to feel the warmth in the sun following the long winter months.

I am kind and caring, enthusiastic and organised. I’m also really good at spelling!
