Summer Activity Camp
Teesside High School runs action-packed adventure camps for children aged 8-14 during the Easter and summer holidays.
The three-day camps (Easter) and week-long programmes (summer) challenge our young people to find qualities and skills they never believed they had, all the while exploring their leadership capabilities, teamwork skills, resilience and tenacity and raising self-esteem and confidence as well as having lots of fun. The camps are open to THS pupils and pupils from other schools within our local community.
The programmes cover an amazing range of activity options to challenge all experiences and abilities including team building activities, orienteering, rock climbing, gorge walking, abseiling, hill walking, coasteering and on-site team games in our Woodland School.
The next Outdoor Activity Camps will take place during the summer break; Monday 23 - Friday 27 July and Monday 13 - Friday 17 August.
There are just 12 places on each week-long course which will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Each course will be open to children 8-14 years of age (on the first day of the course).
The programme covers an amazing range of activity options to challenge all experiences and abilities including orienteering, rock climbing, gorge walking, hill walking and coasteering; all based in a range of beautiful areas including the Yorkshire Dales, Hamsterley, the Lake District and along the North East coastline.
The cost of each week is £270.00, which is inclusive of all activities, safety equipment, transport to and from the off-site activities and expert tuition and supervision with MAC outdoor leaders.
