Riverbank Nursery at Teesside High School opened its doors in April 2026 and, following an incredibly successful launch, we are already expanding! We are now looking for a number of passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educators (Level 3) to join our growing team from 1 September 2026.
At Riverbank, we pride ourselves on being a small, caring setting where both our children and our staff are at the heart of everything we do. This rewarding role offers the chance to be part of a nurturing community, supporting children aged 6 months to 4 years.
Our mission is to ignite curiosity and a love of learning from the moment children join us. We are dedicated to fostering an environment where children feel safe, valued and free to explore. Strong partnerships with families are at the heart of our approach, ensuring every child thrives socially, academically and creatively.
We are looking for warm and skilled Early Years professionals who bring creativity and a genuine passion for early learning. If you want to work in an environment that celebrates curiosity and excellence, we would love to hear from you.
Please note that we may review applications before the closing date; therefore, we would like to encourage interested candidates to apply as soon as possible.
Further information and details of how to apply can be obtained via recruitment@teessidehigh.co.uk or telephone 01642 782095.
Teesside High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Applicants must be willing to undergo Child Protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. This role is classed as regulated activity and as such is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
In accordance with Department for Education Keeping Children Safe in Education, an online search will be completed on all shortlisted applicants prior to interview. Any relevant information will be discussed further with the applicant during the recruitment process.
Teesside High School is committed to safeguarding the welfare of its students and the successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service certificate and checks of the relevant barred list/prohibition lists.
The school undertakes to treat all applicants for posts fairly and not to discriminate unfairly against volunteers or paid staff who voluntarily reveal that they have a criminal conviction. Equally, we will not discriminate unfairly against volunteers or paid staff where a Disclosure and Barring Service check reveals a criminal conviction or other information about offences.
Therefore, we will consider job applicants who have a criminal record based on their skills, abilities, experience, knowledge and, where needed, qualifications and training. However, our approach depends on the job, and whether it is covered by, or exempt from, the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
We are proud to be a Disability Confident employer and guarantee an interview to anyone disclosing a disability whose application meets the minimum criteria for the post. However, it is important to note that if we receive a high volume of applications, we may limit the numbers of interviews offered to people with and without a disability.
