Junior and Senior Girls finish season unbeaten in District Athletics

On Thursday 19 June, both the Junior and Senior Girls represented Teesside High School in the Athletics League Finals with pride, passion and phenomenal performances.

Unfortunately, the Senior Girls were awarded a walkover in their final. While they did not get the chance to compete on the day, they thoroughly deserved their place and enjoyed celebrating a successful season, having performed at a consistently excellent standard throughout the competition.

The Junior Girls faced Egglescliffe School in their final and delivered a truly dominant performance, winning 8 out of the 9 track and field events – a testament to their strength across all disciplines. Standout results included:

  • 800m – Katie
  • Discus, 100m & 200m – Betsy
  • Javelin & Shot – Amelie
  • Long Jump – Faith
  • Relay – Betsy, Evie, Abigail and Sophia.

Unbeaten all season!

With this result, both our Junior and Senior Girls teams finish the season unbeaten in the District League and District Championships – an incredible achievement that reflects the hard work and dedication of every athlete involved.
