Art, Food and DT Technician

Hours: Two days per week (working days will be Wednesday and Thursday), term time only plus 2 days
Salary: £7,767.48

Teesside High School is an exciting and forward-thinking independent school that educates boys and girls aged 3-18 years. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and IT skills; be enthusiastic, organised and a team player.

We are seeking to employ an organised, reliable and highly motivated Art, Food and DT Technician to provide support for staff within the department. The successful candidate’s primary role is to provide support for staff within the Art, Food and DT Departments; this will consist of assistance with resource preparation, record keeping, organisation and room maintenance as well as strictly technical tasks. The technician will be comfortable working within a food preparation environment, be able to work accurately and independently, be proficient with computers and will know how to apply skills in practical subjects. The ability to use a 3D printer is desirable but training will be given.

Prep School Teacher (maternity cover)

Part time, 0.6 FTE to start on 6 January 2026 (working days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
Salary is dependent on experience.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational Prep School Teacher with a passion for excellence. The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner with experience of teaching a range of subjects at Key Stages 1 and 2. In addition, you will possess the expertise required to teach in an environment where children of mixed abilities excel. You should possess the ability to inspire, deliver high quality lessons and to make an impactful contribution to the Prep School curriculum. Based in our Prep department, you would be joining a strong and supportive team, taking responsibility for leading a curriculum area. A willingness to commit fully to the co-curricular side of school life is essential.
